Rakshasa Street Season 2 or Zhen Hun Jie: Bei Luo Shi Men Pian is getting a reboot and it will be released by bilibili and L2 Studio on May 15, 2021. The remake of Rakshasa Street Season 2 had been announced after its first half which premiered last December 2019 was received negatively by the Chinese viewers.
Due to the bad rating and critical response, L2 studio decided to make a reboot of the popular Chinese anime instead of proceeding with the original schedule of releasing the second part this year. Therefore, we will be getting the entirety of Rakshasa Street Season 2 back from the first episode on May 15. This controversy was also rumored to be the reason why L2 Studio’s other project Silent Reading was delayed in production several times despite having it originally listed as an upcoming donghua last 2020.
