The hilarious and exciting adventure in the Chinese comedy anime Busted! Dark Lord continues as it was revealed that the donghua is coming back for its 2nd season along with a new promotional video and teaser visual.
The series will air continuously so right after its scheduled season 1 finale on April 2, Busted! Darklord Season 2 will begin airing on April 9, 2022.
The hilarious donghua that revolves around crossdressing with funny antics involving demons and heroes is adapted from a manhua of the same name – Xiao Motou Baolu La! (Busted! Darklord.) which was written by Xian Man Wenhua.
Synopsis
In an attempt for survival, Yu Renjie, the son of the demon lord, was ordered to enter Hero’s Academy which only recruits distinguished and upright disciples. The goal is to obtain a Hero’s Certificate which can bring legitimacy to the demon clan. This is extremely dangerous. Once the identity of a demon cultist is exposed, countless righteous knights will kill them on the spot. But on the first day of school, Yu Renjie was shocked to find out that his personal information had been leaked. In order to hide his identity, he had no choice but to put on women’s clothing. His dangerous and hilarious campus life is about to unfold!

Busted! Darklord. donghua adaptation was released on January 15, 2022, as part of the Bilibili Chinese anime lineup this year. The first seasons run for 13 episodes with 8 minutes in length each. Wawayu Animation (known for Cinderella Chef) is returning as the animation studio for Busted! Darklord Season 2.
