Fans of Battle Through the Heavens must be all rejoicing now because the currently airing 5th season of the donghua was extended as additional 52 more episodes were announced for the series, making the entire Battle Through The Heavens: Nian Fan total episodes 104.
The announcement that Battle Through The Heavens Season 5 is getting 52 more episodes was first leaked by various donghua fans, and while the official Weibo page posted not to believe in any rumors until it was officially confirmed, it was finally made at the end of the 52nd episode of the series that aired on July 9. Hence, it confirmed that Battle Through The Heavens: Nian not only gets 52 more episodes but also will air continuously the next week. That only means that the 53rd episode will start on July 16, 2023.
Furthermore, along with the teaser trailer highlights Xiao Yan’s return to Jia Ma Empire with his group and the wedding agreement between Yun Yun and Gu He that Yun Shan personally arranged. A new key poster was also unveiled which features Xiao Yan.
With all of these announcements and updates, we can all expect an exciting and even more satisfying ride from Battle Through The Heavens starting next week as the donghua will air once again for another year, isn’t that great?
There are plenty of things to look forward to from this arc of the series which includes Xiao Yan’s reunion with the Xiao Family and his old allies from the Miteer Family – Hai Bodong and Ya Fei included. He’ll also arrange a new alliance with the Roya Family of the Jia Ma Empire led by Jia Xitian, the Alchemist Association Guild by Fama, and Yao Chen’s appearance before the very eyes of Xiao Yan’s allies.
