A few days before A Mortal’s Journey to Immortality Season 2 release on November 14, its production committee has unveiled the official theme song called Heaven and Earth, and it features a whole lot of action-packed scenarios that we should watch out for Han Li’s return.

For sure many fans had been anxiously waiting after the cliffhanger conclusion that we had from its special episodes that aired last January, now, we can witness what will happen next to Han Li’s journey towards the peak of the cultivation world and all the new encounters that he’ll have, no matter how ordinary he may be.
Fanren Xiu Xian Zhuan which first premiered in July 2020 had been a fascinating ride for the fans of the xinxia (cultivation) genre as it offers a rather uncommon treat, the main protagonist that is ordinary, not so overwhelming unlike the majority of Chinese cultivation anime that we had out there. Nevertheless, Han Li, as ordinary as he may be, still has some lingering lucks with him, but the road ahead for him is not as smooth, as he’ll have to go through a lot of tribulations in his quest to the path of true cultivation.
The donghua goes with the full title of A Record of A Mortal’s Journey to Immortality and first premiered on July 25, 2020 for 17 episodes, it was then followed by a 4-episode special – A Record of A Mortal’s Journey: The Battle of Yanjiabao. It is animated by Original Force, and Wanmei Mao Animation, while bilibili, China Literature, and Mopi are the producers. The series is adapted from the xinxia novel of the same name by author Wang Yu.
Synopsis
A poor and ordinary boy from a village joins a minor sect in Jiang Hu and becomes an Unofficial Disciple by chance. How will Han Li, a commoner by birth, establish a foothold for himself in his sect? With his mediocre aptitude, he must successfully traverse the treacherous path of cultivation and avoid the notice of those who may do him harm.
