Alright, amidst the upcoming release of Da Wang Rao Ming on December 3 on Tencent and WeTV, its official page on Weibo has unveiled a set of character PVs that every fan should definitely see as it introduced us to the characters that we should watch out for from the donghua.
First of the Da Wang Rao Ming character PV features our MC Lu Shu. We were able to take a glance at his persona in this new PV that shows the quite rascal side of him that will somehow remind donghua fans of the hilarious characters from The King’s Avatar that we all love such as Ye Xiu, Bao Rongxing, and some more shameless name. Nevertheless, Lu Shu’s appearance also seems similar to our favorite Wang Ling from The Daily Life of the Immortal King.
Da Wang Rao Ming will revolve around a school setting with supernatural and fantasy elements that will remind you of Full-Time Magister (Quanzhi Fashi). Nevertheless, the donghua promises to deliver a lot of nostalgic and familiar feelings.

The donghua is animated by Big Firebird Cultural Media, the studio behind some of our favorite series such as Hero Return, The Demonic King Who Chases His Wife, and Planting Manual. While it is produced by Tencent Animation & Comics, and Tencent Penguin Pictures, and had been based on a web novel of the same title by Hui Shuohua De Zhouzi (Talking Elbow).
Furthermore, the dubbing will be handled by 729 Voice Workshop, which had been founded by Ajie (Ye Xiu and Wei Wuxian’s voice actor from The King’s Avatar and Mo Dao Zu Shi respectively).
