One of our favorite Chinese 3D donghua in recent years is returning for another season and that is Xue Ying Ling Zhu Season 3 which is scheduled to premiere this December.
The donghua’s latest season was first revealed during the 2021 Tencent Video Animation Conference last August 8 where the giant Chinese company has unveiled its list of upcoming Chinese anime shows for 2021 and 2022. Xue Ying Ling Zhu Season 3 is among the highly anticipated sequels from its lineup along with familiar titles such as Hitori no Shita: Season 4, Painting Rivers and Lakes Season 5, The King’s Avatar Season 3, Thousand Autumns Season 2, Stellar Transformations Season 4, and many more.
The donghua was inspired by a Chinese web novel of the same title, written by author Wo Chi Xihongsi (I Eat Tomatoes) who is also known for his other works such as Stellar Transformations and Swallowed Star, both had been adapted into donghua too in the last 3 years.
Xue Ying Ling Zhu Season 3 Release Date
The release for Xue Ying Ling Zhu Season 3 is scheduled for December 27, 2021, and will be streamed officially on Tencent Video. The series had been known by other names too such as Lord Xue Ying or Snow Eagle Lord. It will run for a total of 26 episodes until June 13, 2022. Xue Ying Ling Zhu Season 3 is animated by Mili Pictures and produced by Tencent Penguin Pictures.
The donghua was first released on December 20, 2018, until June 6, 2019, with 26 episodes. It was then followed by a 2nd season which aired from December 31, 2020, until March 4, 2021. The donghua also received a 4-episode special in January 2020. Furthermore, the novel where the donghua had been based off was also adapted to manhua in 2017 and had been completed its publication until July 2019 under the title Lord Snowhawk.
Synopsis
