Here comes another Chinese isekai anime that fans should look forward to soon is the Great Doctor Nine Miss which will remind you of series like The Demonic King Who Chases His Wife, Cinderella Chef, and Psychic Princess.
The Great Doctor Nine Miss is a story about a great doctor but got herself transmigrated back in Ancient China and possessed the body of the good-for-nothing 9th Miss of her family. Now, that sounds like the plot of The Demonic King Who Chases His Wife where the main heroine got transmigrated after she was stabbed by her boyfriend, and she possessed the body of the 4th Miss of the Su Family who is known as useless and good-for-nothing.
That’s the backbone of the plot but there’s more to its story albeit both series seriously have plenty of similarities. Great Doctor Nine Miss also highlights a strong and independent woman who possessed the body of a considered useless lady, so people around her will definitely get surprised or shocked by the change in her behavior and I am obviously living to see scenes like that happen.
The donghua was first unveiled during the 2021 Tencent Video Animation Conference where it has been listed as one of their upcoming lineups. Later on, the Great Doctor Nine Miss donghua adaptation is slated to be a part of Tencent’s donghua lineup for Fall 2021 along with The Mirror: Twin Cities, Swallowed Star Season 2, and many more.
Great Doctor Nine Miss’ release date is scheduled on November 30, 2021, on Tencent and it is slated to get 60 episodes in total from Studio Rocen and Tencent Penguin Pictures.
