Luo Feng is returning for Swallowed Star Season 2 which is slated for release on December 29, 2021, as part of the Tencent Fall 2021 donghua lineup and is one of the most anticipated sequels this season.
The combination of science fiction and cultivation is among the highlights of Swallowed Star, making it a series that appeals to both fans of the genre. The 2nd season will continue where the series has all left us upon its season 1 finale and we are simply craving for more.
Swallowed Star Season 2 was first unveiled by Tencent during their 2021 annual conference that took place last August 8. The series had been listed among the returning sequels along with popular titles such as Battle Through The Heavens Season 5, The King’s Avatar Season 3, The Outcast Season 4, Stellar Transformations Season 4, and Martial Universe Season 3 to name a few.
The donghua had been adapted from a Chinese web novel by I Eat Tomatoes, who also wrote some of the popular cultivation stories such as Stellar Transformations and Snow Eagle Lord. Swallowed Star was first released on December 5, 2021, and has been animated by Sparkly Key Animation together with the British studio Axis. Now, they are returning to handle the production of Swallowed Star Season 2.
Synopsis
The year 2056, in a city in the Yuan Jiang Su Jin area. On top of a ruined, shattered six-story residential apartment sits a teenager wearing a combat vest, militaristic trousers, and alloyed battle boots. On his back is a hexagonal shield and equipped is a blood-shadow battle knife. He sits there silently on the edge of the roof. At this time, the sparkling sky was shining and there was a refreshing breath within the air that blew towards him. However, there was only silence within the ruined, deserted city, with an occasional howl that makes your heart skip a beat.
