Alright, before its scheduled release, why not take a look at some interesting details and facts about this new donghua that you might find exciting?
The Legendary Twins (Juedai Shuang Jiao) is adapted from a novel of the same title by Gu Long and was published during the 1960s era. It was one of the popular wuxia novels of that time that explores the heroic adventure of twins that were separated from birth but has the destiny to fulfill and reunited in their teenage years.
The novel was also adapted into several drama adaptations, I remember watching one of these adaptations more than 17 years ago and it was truly exciting. Now, this makes me even more anxious to see what the donghua adaptation can do and feature some satisfying fight scenes that we wish to see from it.
Studio BYMENT is handling its production with Tencent Penguin Pictures and Tencent Pictures as its producers. It was originally scheduled for release on July 25 but was postponed. The donghua is slated to have 18 episodes and a special had been green-lit for it titled Juedai Shuang Jiao Specials.
The Legendary Twins voice cast includes familiar names such as Zhang Fuzheng as Hua Wuque, Su Shanqing as Jiang Yulang, Li Shimeng as Lianxing, Chang Rongshan as Yaoyue, Luan Lisheng as Kaixin Zi, Gu Jiangshan as Xuer Xiao to name a few of them.
