Wang Ling and his friends are coming back for The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 4 which had been officially confirmed by the production committee during the Bilibili annual conference that took place last October 29, 2022.
The series had been one of the many returning donghua sequels that were unveiled in the event alongside The Manual of Hundred Demons Season 4, Link Click Season 2, Salted Fish Season 2, Fog Hill of Five Elements Chapter 2, and Rakshasa Street Season 3 to name a few.
The event also unveiled the releases of some of its highly anticipated donghua adaptations such as The Three-Body Problem which is scheduled for release on December 3 and was based on an award-winning novel of the same name.

Now, let’s talk about The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 4. I’ve previously mentioned that according to its original author which was shared on Weibo, Ku Xuan who wrote the novel, the 3rd season of the donghua might have been the last season. Fortunately, such is not the case and it seems that things actually changed for the better.
The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 4 had been officially confirmed now through the Bilibili Event and we might have to wait until next year though since the 3rd season of the series is still airing until December 11.
Nonetheless, that’s great news already. The event also revealed the first look at Xian Wang De Richang Shenghuo 4 on which a concept poster and a promotional video had been unveiled.
There are some changes in the production part though, if we can all remember, The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 1 was animated and produced by Haoliners Animation League, Bilibili, and Studio LAN. The 2nd and 3rd seasons though were handled by PB Animation. Now, The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 4 has Liyu Culture as one of its new producers, and Ku Xuan himself will serve as the director of the donghua.
Meanwhile, if you haven’t watched the 3rd season yet, I urge you to check it out. It’s available on your favorite donghua and anime websites as well as on its official outlets on Bilibili and Crunchyroll.
